Crime Reduction Charities

There are hundreds of charities ranging from smaller locally based charities focusing on very specific crimes to large, higher profile, national charities.

They usually work in partnership with statutory agencies to help improve links and communication with the public. They can play a particularly important role in ethnic communities, raising awareness of crimes against women such as Domestic Abuse and providing specialist advice to law enforcement and criminal justice agencies on issues such as crime against the gay, lesbian and transgender communities.

The functions carried out by charities can range from working with offenders, victims of crime or even helping to detect crime such as with Crime Stoppers.

In some cases, services such as resettlement of offenders or drug and alcohol treatment programmes are outsourced to charitable organisations.

We appreciate that charities can sometimes work with limited recruitment budgets - this means getting the right person first time is paramount. We can build tailored recruitment solutions with flexible terms to meet both your staffing and business needs or simply provide guidance on the best recruitment method to use.
